The family’s experience in shipping was acquired over several generations. Prior to the establishment of Fafalios Shipping SA in 1968, they were owners of companies such as Nea Tyhi Maritime in Piraeus, Fafalios Ltd. in London, Meandros Ship Stores Ltd. in Cardiff and Homeric Maritime in New York.
